Let me share a little about my background. Although my parents are from Taiwan, I was born and raised in Japan. Growing up in a multicultural household gave me an early appreciation for languages and cross-cultural understanding. This interest deepened during my college years, which I spent in Texas, USA. As a result, I am fluent in Japanese, Taiwanese, Mandarin Chinese, and English. My multilingual abilities enable me to connect with patients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, ensuring clear communication and personalized care.

Over the past 14 years, I have had the privilege of working in Tokyo, where I specialized in obstetrics and gynecology while serving the city’s vibrant international community. Specifically, during the last 8 years I worked at the practice of Dr. Hideki Sakamoto, a distinguished gynecologist in Tokyo’s international community. Under his guidance, I gained invaluable insights into the unique healthcare needs of patients from various regions. My approach to medicine emphasizes empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to ensuring that every patient feels heard and understood.

At my clinic in Ashiya, my mission is to provide accessible, high-quality care tailored to each individual. While I do not perform surgeries myself, I work closely with my brother Dr. Koubu Sen, who is also a skilled and highly experienced gynecologist. He specializes in advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. Together, we strive to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and expert care at every stage of their treatment.
